2023 SEASON

Eath to Kenzie

In 2023, schools across the Inland Northwest will enjoy outreach performances of Earth to Kenzie, a new children's opera.

Kenzie is a fifth-grader with asthma, homework, and an active imagination. When she and her mother move into a shelter, Kenzie finds comfort in her video game adventures with her avatar, Edwin. Through their space adventures, Kenzie finds confidence to help her succeed in school and find contentment within her life.

Enjoy a free family-friendly performance of Earth to Kenzie at the

Metaline Falls Library on Tuesday, May 30 from 4:30pm-5:30pm.

The shy, but lovesick Nemorino finds himself pining after the most beautiful girl in town. Desperate enough to try Dr. Dulcamara's magic "elixir," he sets out to win the affection of his beloved in this heartwarming tale of romance.

Join us for a lovely sunset cruise on Lake Coeur d'Alene, featuring the effervescent music of Donizetti and the magic of a little liquid courage.

Sung in English with English dialogue.

Don Giovanni

It is with great disappointment that Inland Northwest Opera must cancel the December performances of Mozart’s Don Giovanni. This production will be postponed until September 2024. Refunds for any tickets already purchased will be issued by Tickets West shortly.

Unfortunately, INO did not meet fundraising projections to fund this year’s mainstage production. Since ticket sales only cover 30% of mainstage costs, the Board of Directors made the very difficult decision to proceed with the only fiscally responsible course at this time.

Inland Northwest Opera is committed to its mission and working toward a re-imagined 2024 Season to include rescheduled performances Don Giovanni, in addition to a robust Opera-tunities program, an Opera on the Lake performance, and the Opera Truck coming to a location near you!

We thank you for your continued support of our mainstage, education programs, and community concerts. We are truly stronger together!
